As usual, great job on the pole. You should get yourself a water skiing video, if you don't already. And as much as I love the heat, 91 with humidity would just be too hot. I would have to stay ''hydrated'' all day. ;)

If 91 is too hot, we'd have to stay in the house until October. Them 105 deg. days with no breeze and 85% humidity are the boogers. I've always wondered, if it hasn't rained in a month, how the heck is the humidity so high?

You guys are great....what should I put on there? Seats are totally trashed? LOL! Actually there are only a few cracks, with the exception of the bucket seats. For some reason those are worse.

TallCanadian he's right, 91 isn't bad...when its 105 I'm in the lake "hydrating" as you say!

Mick, Max is headed in for a check up Tuesday. I still have the ongoing voltage issue and I'm having him adjust the idle mixture. Max is loading up when he idles for a long time (Like no wake zones). A couple of the plugs did look a little suspicious, so that might help things too.

Today I'm going to try to figure out why the depth finder leaked out the RV antifreeze stuff. This sending unit has an "angle adapter" that you glue to the floor. After that you put a couple of ounces of RV antifreeze in it, then drop in the transponder and screw it to the adapter. The last day I was at the lake the depth finder quit working, when I pulled the plug, the antifreeze trickled out. David had the same set up with his, but couldn't get his clearances to work with the "angle adapter". He just took marine silicone and "glued" it to the floor. His works fine, has anyone else done that ?

I also need to find a new spot for the xm antenna. I have it mounted on the top of the controls right now, but when I rest my arm on the side of the boat it blocks the signal. So far I haven't thought of any good places for it.

I may also spend some time trying to build a few hidey holes between the seats and gunnels. I need someplace too keep my phone and wallet, so far they have just bounced around under the seat!

Hey Arch the interior looks great. As for your phone and such how about one of thosecup holder caddies that Billy Maze pimped on the HSN ? Also have made any decissions on the ski storage?

I don't think I have seen that wonder product....what is it? I haven't thought much about ski storage issue, just trying to whittle down my list, its towards the bottom at the moment.

What does your xm antenna look like? If it's one of those small black thing-a-ma-bobs, why not on top of Max. Maybe in the front where it rises for the handle. Just my 2 Canadian cents worth. Well, back out on mine, more sanding.

Yeah its a little black deal. I have thought about mounting it on Max, but I was hoping to find some place where you wouldn't notice it.

Well I mowed the yard today, yeah! I did work on the transponder....silconed it to the floor, guess we will see how that works. I also glued the bilge pump down. Apparently that antifreeze doesn't get along with 5200. Both of them just came right up. I wanted to get some wax on, but realized I have some water spots that have to come off first. Tomorrow she will get a bath and some wax....also I need to test the running voltage to see if the gauge is reading correctly. Then off to Max's checkup on Tuesday....I'm also sending the tank back and ordering a custom tank. Seems like that is the only way to solve the problem. Once I iron out the tank, then I can finish up the storage in the back and cover panels....oh and the swim platforms.....your never done!

I'm not that old Mick! We did have an OLD boat that looked like that when I was a kid! No problems here on my side of town, I only got 2.5" of rain. Some other parts of town are soggy. I heard downtown got 10" in a couple of hours. The bad part is all the water is headed to the lake  Hope it doesn't flood things, I'm headed out there on Thursday night. I'm sure regardless it will muddy up the lake ....oh well, better muddy water than no water!

That's good. Yeh, I saw it on CNN- 9-10 inches of rain. It lookedlike some ofthedevelopments were built in flood zones:)

maybe that was bob in that pic then:)

Re: 16' Nescher ski boat complete restore- SPLASHED!!

Thanks 83vert....I still have lots of projects to finish, but at least I can take her out every weekend! Tonight I checked my voltage gauge to make sure it was reading correctly, right on. So tomorrow Max gets his check-up and hopefully the voltage issue resolved. I also tinkered with the trim gauge / sender. I started another threat on that and got the specs for the sending unit, which checked out. I also checked the sender wire, ground, and power...all checked out. Looks like its the gauge, so I'm looking into getting a replacement.

I'll try to get some this weekend....seems like I'm always in it running around instead of photographing it! I'm hoping to get some more of it from another boat.
