I'm on track for paint Tuesday....got the dash sanded down and the drain tubes installed, thanks bankfisher!

I also got the paint booth cleaned out....hosed it out good!

And of course Miss Morgan enjoyed being outside.....damn, cant wait to get the paint on the top and Max hung on the transom!

Head to the upholster in the AM, then paint prep tomorrow night!

And thanks for that video - some real interesting glassics at that meet. (How they all managed to avoid a collision with all that traffic is beyond me... )

Thanks Bob, hope fully you will see her completed in about 6 weeks! I'm dropping the last seat frame off today and heading by the paint store.....can't wait to have the paint on her!

Well I have Miss Morgan taped to the floor so to speak....only way I could figure out how to mask her off. I'm heading to get something to eat, then wrap up the prep for the paint. I'll post some pics later.

Sleeping and working ain't all it's cracked up to be. You could paint it tonite and sleep in tomorrow and clear coat it tomorrow afternoon, that way we would not have to wait so long for the pics and video.

Arch make sure you give her lots of love after the paint job. You know those boats are just like humans. They have feelings to. Make 'em mad, and well I'm sure you know about repair bills with boats. Anyhow I love the paint booth. It's pretty nice looking, and looks so simple to build. When I get back to working on my Tom Sawyer I'm going to have to build a paint booth outside since I have no garage. How are the seats starting to look? You know a video of the paint job would be really cool. lol

Hey Arch I think you went BONKERS on the paint booth! Good Job! wow Miss Morgan sure has come a long way! She sure is purty!

ps toss the plastic cover up when your done, I kept some plastic once....after using it for paint cover up, then I used it to cover some stuff when rain came through...well all the dried paint came off onto the "stuff" and made a big old mess....fyi words of wisdom!

you will be done just in time for some great spring summer weather...thats AWSOME!
