That show on Spike TV called musclecar did a camaro in that color. It looked really sweet, and so does your boat.

It will look better when that is a picture of the real paint on it! I found out today that I should be getting my "tower of power" late next week or early in the following week. I can't wait to see / hear / smell it run when I pick it up....brings a tear to your eye just thinking about it huh? I do think it will look pretty cool on the boat.....and fly across the lake!

Gurgle, gurgle, vroom, vroom, whaaaaaaa, whaaaaaaaaaaaa, oh sorry I was just thinking of the tower of power running. I cant even think of running mine for a long time. Hooking up a hose full of Ice is not good for the water pump. Cant wait to see the tower of power. What do you call the 4 cylinder version which is what I have. A short stack? A townhouse of power?

Good question.....I'm not sure! Ice and waterpumps don't go together....finally thawed here, its about 42 outside. Uploading picks now, should have a boat filpping update soon!

Well I got the old boat flipper out tonight and turned Miss Morgan upside down. Here is a shot right before we got started.

I have to thank my friends Big Matt and B-bard for helping with the boat flip....and taking care of that extra beer that I had occupying my ice chest! It was getting dark, so I didn't have a chance to get video....but here is a shot as I picked it up, right before we pulled the trailer out from under it.

Here is one with it hanging from the tractor.....love the way it looks!

Now back in the shop on the cart I built for it.

And here is the trailer in my barn.....looks a lot different than it did when I last put the boat on it!.

We have good weather this weekend, so my plan is to work hard on getting the bottom prepped. Hopefully I can get the first coat of primer on Sunday.....and maybe get close to ready for paint by next weekend.....more than likely that is 2 weeks away if the weather holds. Hope everyone else is making progress this weekend!

damn that looks good off the trailer, I cant wait to see it with paint. How did you flip it? you pics just show it in the slings then it magically ended up upside down on the stand.

We picked it up, pulled out the trailer?sat it down?.then rolled it over??I was worried about stress issues, but not a single complaint from the hull, its solid! It only took two of us to pick it up and have it standing 90 degrees to the ground, yeah it will fly with the tower on back! Then we sat it down, upside down?.re-rigged it, lifted it up, pushed the cart under it and sat it on the cart. We rolled it over on some old carpet padding I got from my parents, worked great!

That burger flipper really did the trick.
I'm looking for to seeing some paint on the girl.
As for the interior samples I like 4+5. Any combination of those colors would looks great.

I like the right 3, but then again I need to get the paint colors picked out to see how it all works together. I'm thinking the main bodies will be gray, with red accents.

Right now it is drizzling a little but warm....great weather to be in the shop! I'm fixing to head down to the shop for a cleaning session...then get to work on prepping the bottom.

Well today was pretty much prep day for priming the bottom. I have some video, but I will probally have to upload it at the office on Monday. If the weather co-opperates....I should have the first primer coat on tomorrow!

samples 3 and 4 match the boat now. you will have to lay them out against the new colors to be sure. I cant wait to see it in primer or better yet paint.

Well I finally got my computer back....turns out I had a wonderful virus! So much for anti-virus software! And of course I lost some data including the video downloading / editing software. I'm going to work on reintalling that and getting the video posted of the primering tonight.

I was in the same boat a little while back- I had to do a total restore back to factory settings. I'll give you the names of the two free spyware and adware sites that beat mcafee or norton. The computer person at my school told me about them- I actually totally removed mcafee from my computer and have had 0 issues since.

I did the same thing with Norton,
MY computer even got faster by removing it.

I'm with you there. My computer got to the point that it was taking 10 minutes to boot up. After removing Norton, it booted in 2 minutes. Through trial and error on several machines I've found that AVG does pretty good, as long as you disable the Resident shield. That will bring it down to a crawl.

Mountain Man- AVG is one that I have running now- it definitely beats mcafee or norton- I can't remember the other one that runs also that compliments it- I haven't turned that computer on in a while.

Archbuilder- I hope the video is #1 on your priority list!
