    Is the cam screw bottomed out?-----And you can use the timing marks on the flywheel ( yes there are two ) and the vertical lines on the magplate to set points with a meter.----Gets you the STRONGEST spark.----Tutorials on U-TUBE for this " best method " that I have used since about 1968 !

    Fact----The fuel pump is driven by PRESSURE and not so much vacuum.-----Did you order factory parts or something cheaper.-----Does spark jump a gap of 5/16" on both leads?----Are coils inspected and newer replacements?----Have you replaced the water pump impeller?----Have you inspected the slip...

    If you have blisters in one spot there is no point in fixing that.-----Blisters will show up allover next month / next year.-----Launch the boat and enjoy.----Set $$$ aside for proper repairs.

    The clutch dog is spring loaded to go into FORWARD.----As you try to shift to neutral and reverse it takes more and more effort as you compress this spring.-----Have one of these gearcases apart at this time!
