1996 Johnson 112 SPL Model number

It goes without saying that I am NEW here. Very New to this and Boats. I have a 1996 Johnson 112 SPL engine that needs rebuilt. I want to make sure I get the correct parts and not 100% sure on the model. the sticker on the plate is wore down so much you can't read it. the title has the serial for the model. Just not sure what it is exactly.

What I am finding shows "J112TSLEDR, J112TSXEDR, XJ112TSLEDR, and XJ112TSXEDR". For all i know this is all the same. Just want to make sure i get the correct piston, rings, gaskets......

Is the Piston "3.500"... from what I read that is the same size in my 1984 150 (also needs rebuilt).

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Pistons are the same on the V-4 and V-6 from about 1974 to end of production in about 1998.
