    4.3 won’t start

Check voltages where? Getting to the fuel pump requires taking off the manifold.

    4.3 won’t start

2001 Stingray MS200 with 4.3 Merc antifreeze cooling. Had to be towed in last night as the engine wouldn’t start. Had the fuel pump replaced last year. Only 2 hours on it since. The solenoids both click when turning the key half way however the fuel pump doesn’t make any noise. I checked all 3...

SB engine died on way out, fuel pump?

I AM AN IDIOT! I went back and reread alldodges post several times and figured out where the fuses he was referring to are. It was a 15 amp fuse exactly were he said to look. $3 for new fuse and I’m back in business. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

SB engine died on way out, fuel pump?

Maybe I've been messing with the wrong thing. You mentioned item number 13, but I’ve been messing with the relay item number 11. Can someone provide a picture of the item number 13 please. I can’t seem to post any pictures.

SB engine died on way out, fuel pump?

Just verified that it not the pump. I pulled the connection to it and fed it 12 volts and it made noise like it’s working.

SB engine died on way out, fuel pump?

2000 Formula 400ss with twin 502 bravo lll drives. 15 minutes into our cruise yesterday the SB motor died. It cranks like normal but won’t start. Am I correct to think it’s the fuel pump based on the following video? You may need to turn up the volume.

    Wiper Arms

Frustration station. Can't seem to get anything done easily these days. Trying to remove my wipers as they do not work without popping the fuses and they are old and unsightly. I removed the small allen set screw on the side, banged it around with a hammer and tried prying it up at different...

    Kohler generator overheat issues?

1999 kohler 7.3e Overflow bottle on the side goes from empty to full back to empty within minutes of running and shutting down. Recently installed new impeller and coupling and radiator cap. Removed and confirmed the thermostat opens at 165 degrees and the heat exchanger is flowing well...

    Overheating 502

Update: I fixed it by flushing and back flushing with water and air compressor until the check valve prevented backflow. I was surprised how much debris came out. Thanks everyone for you help and insight.

    Overheating 502

Update: After much trial and error I have determined that there is a restriction between the high pressure side of the impeller pump and the inlet at the Tstat housing. I have been told that the only part of this pathway that collects debris is at the oil cooler which I confirmed prior is...

    Overheating 502

Update: Tried to disassemble the rubber boots on the SB side of SB motor today, didn't take too long to realize my logic of disassembling from the manifold risers back to the y boot wasn't going to work without pulling the motor as the bolts that hold the risers in place are much longer than...

    Overheating 502

Tstat opened up good at 175 and closed at 158. I assume that means that's not the issue.
