    VP 290 can't get bolt out of metal ring over the rubber ring.

    I think it's a 290 drive, it was installed in 1987 or 89 with a 5.7 in an old 68 Chris Craft. The other 5 bolts came loose, but 1 is not budging. Any suggestion. What would you try. Thanks

    Water Pump Indicator Hole, only exhaust coming out, 2002 40ph

    Put on muffs, fired up, no water coming out of the hole in rear, only exhaust, let it run for a minute and shut it off. It belongs to a friends mother, they asked if i would get it running for them this year. It runs fine, but shouldn't it be peeing somewhere, Thanks

    BBC , green wire to alt ???

    While putting things back together I noticed a green wire going to the alt. not hooked to anything. ? Didn't see anything to hook it to. There are 3 wires to the alt. Red, Black, and this Green wire. Where does it go ??? Thanks

    50 amp fuse goes out ???

    88 Bayliner capri 2.3 OMC cobra o.d 50 amp inline fuse gets hot and falls apart, does not blow ???? what/where to look. Thanks Larry

    What Head Gaket do I need, 454ci, 330hp, MerCruiser

    I have a 1977 Formula, engine is original #14015445, Heads are newer 1987-1991 #14092360 I'm having a problem figureing what gasket i need. The gasket that came off has GM14096655 stamped on it. Some help/suggestions sure will be appreciated. Larry

    alum. intake on 454

    i'v got old 454 mercruiser, 1977, 330hp had to pull the head, bent valve. Looking to buy a rebuilt head.     Old 454 head won't come off- Help

    I pulled everything down ,to the pull the head. Now i can't get it to break loose from the block. It's a 1977, 454, 330hp, any ideas what i should try to do. i put some pretty good pressur on it but don't want to break somethin so i covered her up and came here for some help Thanks, Larry

    Where should I start

    Old Formula Thunderbird 26' x 9'6", 1977 twin 454/330hp TR drives ,1:5 ratio Heavy boat, dont know the weight, wish i did. (6-8000 + ???) What prop would you say to try? It's got 20"x15p alum. on it now. I'm sure this aint right, Don't ask wot rpm, can spin them to over rev. Any thoughts ...

    What is the difference in the Merc. 75832T-1 and the 75832T I have the TR/TRS drives and ordered the 75832T-1 u-joints. Am I ok with them??? Thanks
