    Re: 650 (1963) Water Pump Questions In picture 2 it looks like the exhaust tube in the driveshaft housing goes into the LU where your arrow is, if so there is a plate and gasket that goes in there to seal the exhaust tube. Part 39-40.

    Re: Quicksilver Throttle-Shift Control Cable Replacement Help I found it online from someone's suggestion, anyway this is what it shows for the mounting; I think that the pin slides out of the hole in the cable end. You may need to use some penetrating oil on it and a screwdriver.

    Re: the water tube from the impeler You need to grease the end of the tube to help it slide into place. You could also use the guide tube that goes into the pump top (Part Nr. 35); if it doesn't have one a dealer should.
