I had a 3/8” gap between 2 of the panels. I should have started with the front panel first then worked my way back. yeah the dog doesn’t sit still very well. 1.5 seconds later he jumped on my to throw his ball

Got the deck down. Still need to finish riveting. Didn’t countersink the rivets. Tried a couple that will be covered by the gas tank I liked the way they looked with out countersinking. Have some fitment issues between a piece but can fill with fairing compound. Looking at using garage flooring...

Got the kicker bracket cut and sanded but the bolts I bought have different threads than the nuts. Didn’t check at the store I guess. Got some paint over the epoxied floors bc I am running low on epoxy to do a ton of coats on the floor and don’t feel like buying more at $150 per gallon. Some...

I noticed that in the picture too. Oops. I get in a rush when covered in 5200. Not sure why, it takes a week to dry lol

Looking good!!! Would love to get a chance to hunt some elk. We have plenty of white tail here in Ohio but an elk and a moose are on the bucket list.

Got some more epoxy done on the floor panels and ordered some long rivets to install flooring. While the epoxy cures I made the first half of my kicker bracket / riser. I have a long shaft kicker and it always sat too low when raised up. It would drag and spray water when under way so this...

    21' Holiday Rebuild

I ended up on deciding to do hydro turf for the little storage shelf’s and up the gunwale bc I would have had to order another 9’ of vinyl and the hydro turf is cheaper and easier to install. I won’t have any mechanical fasteners holding the flooring down except the seat bases. May just bite the...

Not sure the best way to the holes. What epoxy and hardener did you go with? I used total boat with fast cure at 55-60 degrees and it cured well.

I have been trying to figure out the search function but can't get it to work well. I would think if you used large enough wire the distance wouldn't effect it too much but electrical knowledge is limited. Say use some tin copper 2/0 wire for a 90hp motor or would there still be significance...

    21' Holiday Rebuild

As a side not I think I am going to move the batteries to under the bow to move some weight forward and I already have to reword everything. Wanted to see if anyone had and thoughts on pros or cons. Also looking at marine vinyl adhesive, it looks like I should use a solvent based adhesive like...

Got some more foam done. Just a small bit to do in the bow. Made a huge mess bc I forgot about the double 3/4” ply under the seat bases so I took a wire wheel and ground down to shape the foam so the piece would fit. Also used a heat gun to shape.

Got some foam work done today. Still more to go. Really pleased how the paint turned out. I do have a couple sags but still happy. At the end of the day it’s a fishing boat so not too concerned with paint sags.

Got the inside painted today. Used the majic tractor paint in ford grey even though it looks white. Pretty pleased how it turned out well The paint was still wet in the picture but majic has their own hardener for the paint. I also thinned with just regular paint thinner since I was spraying...

Thanks. I used the $13 spray gun from harbor freight. Not the best gun but for the price it’s almost not worth even cleaning
