    2023 NFL/CFB News and Nonsense

My son sent me that one the morning after the Bills non-loss. Laughing is good, fun to see it again. Gotta admit though, that Norwood thing still kinda hurts

    Sea/Lake Food

The waters here at the eastern end of Lake Erie are a lot cleaner now than a half-century ago - thanks, in part, to an unintended consequence of Zebra Mussels. But the testing is better now, and the "advisories" make some people feel so good to say.... As said before - choose your poison

Seeking Advice: Real-Time Bathymetry Solutions for a 25-Foot Boat

Aside from the objective or application... We (at work) had bathymetric-survey done for shallow sedimentation basins at our site, and had the resulting surface tied-into a UAV survey surface of the surrounding site that is above liquid-level surface.

    Cybertruck

Glad I'll never have to think about wanting/getting/having one of those. But I am also glad others are looking into different idea. The vehicle shots in the video are interesting -but that is not a work truck. Ya, that guy is not much of a speaker. Is that the vehicle Leno tested when they...

    Co-owning a boat?

I avoid it, but it has happened. All owners of whatever the asset is, must have the same desire, resources, and willingness to care for anything co-owned, Certainly, the higher the asset value, the more this similarity in co-owners must exist. The stars can align, but it's kinda rare. If...

    1975 oday 22

Aside from the regs - you can do a buoyancy calc as simple or complex as you'd like, to get a rough idea if filling that space (and/or any other spaces) with foam, makes much of a difference at all. Being a wood boat, you'd have to guesstimate how much of the wood gets saturated

    Tire Recommendation, Japanese Sedan

any vehicle, especially those with shorter wheel-base that an operator turns tightly and/or at higher speeds, needs tire rotations (I'm thinking about the vehicle The Admiral usually operates)

    Tire Recommendation, Japanese Sedan

My .02; don't focus on names - compare costs for tires for your vehicle and intended-use, available in your area in the manner you plan to obtain them, and where/how you plan to get them mounted/balanced/installed - if at home, your choices may expand. Many Manufacturers (their name on them...

    My feelings exactly

agreed. The Admiral and I are on-board with a gifts-for grandchildren-only agreement with our kids (their idea). And we will pitch-in for some boating-want (maybe a used lift for the boat up at Camp that we all use)

    Too big to beach?

Many different thoughts on beaching boats. IMO if you're not familiar with conditions and how youre boat will behave where/when you want to beach - don't do it unless you have a lot of boating-experienced people with you

    Weather analysis for nearshore fishing

Glad you had a good day out - and returned to the hard. The weather info is fine to look at as a reference, actually being there with the experience of your skills, boat, water, etc is invaluable. Never tried SXM weather, but have SXM for music. I use the "free" radar info available as an...
