    4200 can be removed later if need be. 5200, not even the best adhesive remover will take it off.

    Step 1: Throw out the 5200. Step 2: Get the 4000 or 4200. Step 3: As stated why seal the exterior of the outdrive? if it's leaking it's in need of transom work.

    Still no power

    The risers get constant water flow. The seawater pump moves water to them constantly. The thermostat does not have to open to cool the manifolds. However the thermostat keeps the block at a good operating temperature. You say the seawater pump is leaking, yes it’ll suck air also. Replace it.

    Boat accident at dusk

    Had that happen when I almost hit a paddle boat out in our 340 acre lake. I wasn’t going fast but at midnight and no moon you couldn’t see much. Suddenly a flicker ahead of me, paddle boat and a bic lighter. I turned and barley grazed them. They got an earful. My lights were on.

    Maby it’s supposed to be bent up more? Edit. Could we suppose the lift arms up front are compromised? If they were slightly longer it would come up higher.

    Gimbal grease/oil seal possibly installed backwards.

    if you have the non-greaseable gimbal bearing, you don't need that seal. All it does is keep the grease from entering the engine room. Regardless it'll be fine.

    Is the nose of the pin rod hitting the winch frame? I'd think cutting it a tad shorter would make the thing not line up either. Just my morning thoughts without enough coffee.

    Looks great! I’d like to know where you got those invisible spark plug wires, I hate that they clutter up engine room area.
