1976 Tom Boy Boat, 1976 40 HP Johnson Outboard and who knows what Trailer

Since we bought this Club Cart, I have been researching everything about them from top to bottom. Seems interesting that you can get a faster Cart simply by installing larger diameter wheels and tires. I know, sound silly to me too, and counter productive as well. But I've seen it over and over...

1976 Tom Boy Boat, 1976 40 HP Johnson Outboard and who knows what Trailer

Well I added another toy to the inventory yesterdays. The wife saw a Golf Cart for sale in the neighborhood website. And she asked me if it was a good deal. It was a 36 volt electric Club Cart. I called the guy and he gave me his address, which just happen to be about 3 miles away. So we drove...

Where there is a will, there is a way. I'd follow this lady very very far behind, just to see what happens... Stupid comes in all shapes, colors, sizes and gender!

1976 Tom Boy Boat, 1976 40 HP Johnson Outboard and who knows what Trailer

I guess I gave the wrong impression about the engine shaft. It is not but an inch or maybe two max if that longer than the transom. It is already a normal (short) shaft engine. I know from previous experience that that inch or so does make a huge difference in planning and general handling...

1969 Mako cut and gut project by Lectro88

Looks like you are not only rebuilding your boat, but having some fun as well. That's how it should be, but there will be days you wish everything was finished already. Been there, done that. But those days go and new interests take over again. When taking pictures to post, close ups are nice...

1976 Tom Boy Boat, 1976 40 HP Johnson Outboard and who knows what Trailer

Well I guess a little update to this loonnnggg project is needed. No I haven't forgotten about this boat. It is just that I am presently trying to sell THREE houses left from my dad's estate. I have finally been granted sole Administrator of his estate and am presently trying my best to get...

1969 Mako cut and gut project by Lectro88

Seeing the NUMBER of clamps, I'd say someone is a wood worker as well. Once you apply the epoxy and it soaks in and cures, whatever twist or straightening you applied via the clamps, is how it will end up. So nice work. Keep posting those pictures. You know without pictures, it never happened... lol

    New pistol for carry

Actually I was seriously interested in starting up a primer manufacturing company/business. Problem is, you can't get any information as to where to buy the machinery, the materials you need to make the priming solution and basically nothing. If a few people started up such businesses, the...

    New pistol for carry

Now go to the range and plink and shoot it 'til you can load it in your sleep and blindfolded. The more you shoot it the more you will know everything about it if the need comes... JMHO

    New pistol for carry

I didn't mean anything was wrong using Bullseye powder. I use it as well. I was merely interested in the velocity only to get an idea what your recipe was yielding. I mold nearly all my handgun bullets and some times some down loaded rifle rounds, of course with gas checks. Interesting to plink...

    New pistol for carry

Did you by any chance chorography that load? I'd be interested in seeing the velocity with Bullseye powder. Bullseye is a very fast burning powder and it doesn't take deviation from any set load to really increase chamber pressures. I usually use Bullseye for 38 plinking rounds since you can...

    Holes and the unknowns

Obviously if you like the boat, and don't mind getting seriously dirty, smelly, itchy and all that comes from rebuilding it, than by all means jump to it and get demolition on the way... But before starting anything, take TONS of pictures and measurements of everything you possibly can and...

    Old Envinrude Trolling Motor

Pop up a picture or three of your trolling motor and we can offer better suggestions and idea. What model is it, how much voltage does it take, what is the output thrust and so on... Are you interested in bow mount or transom mount. Is it foot controlled or hand controlled? Is your boat already...
