    Welcome to iBoats! Volvo made many different engines in 2015 and just because the boat is a 2015 doesn't mean the engine is. The engine serial number is the best way to determine what engine you have and what those codes mean. What tool are you using to to read these codes?

    This ECM will store codes 3 places. Active, Previously Active and Pending. Codes will be reported in the SPN/FMI format and the technician will use the manual to covert them to a DTC to troubleshoot. It would be interesting if there are any codes.

    Yup, I’ve replaced a few of these. Always because of bad winterizing. If you can’t do it properly it’s probably best to remove the system. Also a bad system in saltwater, really want closed cooling in salt.
