    Starter rebuild

    Can a marine starter be rebuilt to uscg standards using a reputable auto starter shop? If so should I ask specific questions about components they use, or should I just puchase a new one? Thanks Spoon

    Can you ID the outdrive year by model #

    I have been reading Stuart Hastings shift cable adjustments. He was saying that anything 1993 & later was not covered there. My boat is a 97, my motor is a 95, so I have no idea what year the drive is. I do have original paperwork with model #'s.

    Parts Availability?

    I have 1995 7.4 King Cobra, and I have went to a couple of online parts sites and most don"t even list my motor. I have an oppourtunity to sell while everthing still functions. Any thoughts, or comments would be appreciated.
