    For chips that small, I’d use unwaxed thickened gel coat and cover with Saran Wrap. It’ll cure just fine. D prep first, wipe with acetone then apply GC!

    As a Sealer! Poly ALWAYS needs CSM and should never be thinned! cloth/fabric gives it structural strength

    Using thinned polyester resin as a sess as let is not advisable. When it cures it will be brittle and crack. This allows water penetration

    We’ll guys… I got remarried and will be moving to Ada Ok I July! Sold the Blue Flamingo to the gentleman that I did the red interior for. I hope to buy another small fishing boat next year. Time will tell Wish everyone a Happy Life!!

    We’ll all I know is this.. I coated a 1’ x 1’ piece of OSB with the formula left it exposed outside to all kinds of severe Oklahoma weather rain snow sleet heat everything and after two years of exposure it still was a solid piece of OSB plywood

    Mahogany is just fine !! Wipe it liberally with Acetone before applying the pre-coat of resin!
