Maybe my turn for new boat time

Received the new bolt and installed, so it's ready (I hope) When replacing the bolt I had to remove the step just inside to gain access, dealer did also. Found some issues there also and fixed them On a very good note, I bought the boat from Bay Marine and told them about the...

240 2006 sea Ray Sundeck overheats at low RPMS

Being in sale water, you most likely have build up which is restricting flow. Best way to find that is in water with clear tubing. Might even need to move the tubing around to find where the issue(s) are. Being a 2006 with 373 hours in salt water my first thought is the exhaust manifolds might...

240 2006 sea Ray Sundeck overheats at low RPMS

You said it over heats if it idles for a while, I'm assuming you in the water because you also said it doesn't if your above 1000 rpms. We can only work with what you tell us So does it over heat on a hose?

240 2006 sea Ray Sundeck overheats at low RPMS

With boat in the water and not on a hose there should be no bubbles. Seeing bubbles means the impeller is cavitating or there is a hose or connection allowing air to be sucked in. You get air means less water, less water and things get hotter

240 2006 sea Ray Sundeck overheats at low RPMS

Ok THIS should be your motor This is the open cooling system with 3 point drain And this shows the check balls that are in the bottom of the exhaust manifolds The check balls should remain closed when the motor is running, and open up when motor is off. They are used to drain water during...

Been a while since we've had an oil thread

The single point works great for dealers. They drain, back boat into a tank filled with -200AF and run until warmed up, never a problem. Back yard guy doesn't have same setup

Appears to be nothing, and looks like dingbat has it covered If I see a thread that no one has responded to and there have had many views (over 24 hours old, over 200 views) I'll do a quick look and find something that "might" help. My comment didn't help but it caused the thread to come back...

Bought as investment, then decided to down size Many Colts, Browning, Winchester and others. I don't "need" anymore (have to many also) and should do the same with some of...

    Fuel pump issues

That number doesn't work for some reason VP Lookup Is your motor a GL- A, B, C, D etc? The GL motors use a fuel pump relay and the relay is powered during cranking from the key and once running it gets power from the Alternator. Each feed has a diode inline and if it does power up while...
