    First thing I did was compression test 130 and 135. Both coils no spark. No continuity thru plug wires, whats the deal???He put new power pack on. Maybe I should test the power pack?? Here I come you tube!!

    25 HP Merc yr????

    Picked up a super clean 25 HP long shaft Merc today. guy said it needed fuel pump work. Has ser no. 6185918, can anybody verify year. And how do I go about checking the fuel pump out. I took a peek at it appears to be part of the carb. Thanks

    I did the bench blow test on both carbs, they seal up good. Checked with paper reed valves, sucks paper inside. Put carbs back on motor and hit key fuel comes out mouth both carbs, what I do wrong?
