    yes that is the terminal block. if the wires are not put on correctly could that be a reason not to show spark? I have the started all torn apart now.

    bought a new to me project today. 35 hp, EVINRUDE electric start with controls HAS NO SPARK

    I am waiting on delivery of 2 coils, only 1 is bad but I got a spare. Both coil wires have no continuity thru them so I ordered them also. I figured out how to check stator and trigger and they both check out, what else under flywheel can I be working on? The powder pack is working also.

    I don't know how to check this supposedly new power pack with a volt meter but I do have a 1984 6 up evidence that has a good power pack on it, could I borrow it and put on this 35 up evidence without hurting anything?
