    He's not trimming his engine down far enough. He's afraid it's too low. I told him he needs to consider bringing it down. I showed him this thread, he said he's not going to buy a hydrofoil now . He needs to adjust the trim I told him. He will for now on he said. Thanks for the input everybody.

    My neighbor needs a hydro foil for his 2017 Mercury 125 Pro XS for his Outboard. Can anyone here recommend a good/affordable one that they may have purchased. I see they sell them in a 1 piece and 2 piece. Again price and affordability is what he's looking for. Thanks.

    True and yeah I learned my lesson about $1400 later. However she's gonna be a cruiser, I can feel it. Everything is pretty much finished.

    Is it possible to put the upper half of the sterndrive on first? Or do I need to put the whole drive on together?

    I totally agree, it was a real byatch to assemble both halves together off the boat/ bell housing, let alone putting the lower half onto the gear case onto the bell housing while it was on the transom. I couldn't even imagine doing it that way, as It would be incredibly difficult. A lesson...

    Should I be concerned at 7 psi after 2 hours? Hope not. I'm literally burned out, good thing I'm F...g retired. I aged 10 years in the last 3 months from this boat I got for free. 😂
