    I believe that driveshaft will pull right out of the lower unit. Perhaps you can remove the impeller downward. If not, cut it off with a Dremel tool

    Perhaps the kill wire that connects to the top cylinders pointset is grounded? Pull kill wire off pointset and test for continuity to ground. If it’s grounded, trace the wire back.. probably chafed. If kill wire tests good, may as well swap condensers and re-test..

    I wouldn’t think it would run like that. But if that nozzle gasket was in place, then the whole center casting (tube) would be isolated..maybe it would run.. Did it run before you pulled carb?

    Could be faulty fuel pump, could be a leak in fuel lines/connectors. To test, pump primer bulb until firm and keep squeezing with moderate pressure. Look for fuel leaks from primer bulb to pump and pump to carbs. If no leaks, those lines are sealed. Still could be a leak between primer bulb...

    It’s called a nozzle, and should be permanently attached to carb body. Was it laying in the bowl upon disassembly?

    Flywheel is easy to spin without spark plugs

    Jump starter motor directly (plugs in) with known good battery (like your car) with good jumper cables with thick wires.. negative to engine ground, positive to post on starter. If it spins normally, bad wiring/battery/solenoid etc. if no spin, then starter is bad. ‘Good luck!

    Sneezing with video

    If one of the leaves (leaf’s?) isn’t seating to reed plate (behind carb), that cylinder will not get enough fuel, and will lean sneeze. If reeds are all good, upper or lower crankcase seal leak would cause the same symptom. First, follow racer’s advice above.. ‘Good luck!

    100:1 or 50:1?

    I see folks that have followed that 100/1 sticker ratio since new w/o problems. I tell ‘em all to run 50/1 per OMC’s reconsidered recommendation. 100/1 is likely very close to under-oiling at WOT, and not enough oil left on cylinder walls for all winter storage scenarios.. My .02

    I bet you have a pin hole in pump diaphragm, and the fouled plug is the same cylinder that the pump gets it’s pulse from. Fuel is leaking into cylinder crankcase behind pump - flooding that cylinder, and air is getting through pump to carb, all through that pinhole. You can replace that pump...
