    Okay so just got the motor fired up after the exhaust gasket replacement. Attempted my tuneup as per the Haines manual. Runs very nice at higher rpm but bucks on its way back down to idle. Idle seems rough to me as well, but it seemed to be the best I could get it. I'll attach a video of it idling.

    Okay awesome Nordin thank you. My leak seems to coming from between the spacer plate and the powerhead. Any tricks getting that off? I see about 7 or so bolts there. Also, my recirc was super dirty. Anything on that I should inspect?

    Just got the powerhead off. Sorry Nordin but I did separate the motor from the mid leg. However, the shock mounts on mine, the bolts are not vulcanized in rubber, but instead have a plate they screw into that is vulcanized. Do these gaskets need any rtv or can they just be installed dry?

    Hey so since I touched the idle speed screw, does that mean I need to buy a timing light and reset or check the timing? Or can I just adjust the screw until I get 750 rpm in gear?
