Just picked a 4hp Belgium made motor but can't find the year it was built...The model is BE4RDHOB...Any help in identifing would be appreciated...Thanks in advance...
Anyone know if a speedy sleeve is available for a "78" 7.5hp prop shaft? I replaced all the seals in the lower end in including the water pump. If they are available where would I look? I think the oil drip is around the prop shaft. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know how to adjust the tiller on the 7.5? I was on the lake all day yesterday trolling and the motor constantly was vibrating to the port side. I have looked it over carefully and can't find any means of adjusting. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Just finished installing a lower unit seal kit now I'm looking to repair this problem with the fuel running out the throat of the carb. It's a 78 7.5hp. Another problem is one plug seems not to be firing. It is wet, gets spark, and both cyclinders have 100 psi compression. Also anyone ever...
I have installed a new water pump and lower end seals. I need to know if there is a way to remove and replace the shift shaft seal without removing the shaft. Any help ia appreciated. Thanks
I just changed the impeller in the water pump. Now I'm having problems installing the lower unit. Seems no matter what I try I can't get the gears and gear selector to jive with each other. Does anyone know how to install the lower unit correctly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
