I would like to wire a tach onto my 1978 35hp Jonny. It has electric start but doesn't have charging capability. Is it possible to adapt a tach onto this or is my only option a mini tach with a wire wrapped around the number one plug wire? Thanks..

In regards to what is the correct term (I call them cable clamps) that holds the shift and throttle cables onto the engine. I am looking for the part numbers for these clamps to work on a '67 20 hp Johny.
Could someone refresh my fuzzy memory... I am trying to locate a electric starter bracket for a 1967 20 hp Jonny... My memory is fuzzy but I was thinking that any Jonny or Rude from 1959 thro 1973, 18hp to 35hp would work? Is this correct?
