Is it possible for a bad ESA module on a 92 OMC Cobra 5.0 to cause the engine to die at completely random times--as if you turned the key off? This occurs in and out of the water (running on muffs).
When re-sealing a drive, is it necessary to pull the whole drive apart and re seal even the bearing seals? or is it just a few critical locations that must be addressed (and where might they be on a Volvo sx drive?)
Also, I have a customers pinion bearing housing that siezed in the pivot...

Anyone had any experience rolling Awlgrip versus spraying it? What type of roller was used and did you tip it with a brush? How was the "orange peeling" intensity with rolling? Did you clear-coat and was that rolled?

So my battery died and I wanted to use one lying around the shop that tested at 12 volts. Its roughly the same size as my old one. Is it ok to use? my boat is pretty simple with no extra draw from the battery besides the fishfinder. Is it safe?

What is "engine alignment" actually? I know it has to do with the u-joint shaft entering the engine coupler properly but if the outdrive was pulled and you want to put it back in, wouldnt it be aligned to where you left it?
