Have a manual start johnson 9.9. Then aquired a elec start evinrude 9.9. Put the starter on the johnson hooked cables directly to starter, there was a circuit board or something between battery and starter on the evinrude.. Any way I hooked cables directly to starter and left the circuit board...
this motor starts good and seems to run fine, but the bottom plug wire can be removed and it just keeps running... there is a small spark coming through wire but not much. can anyone help?
This motor cranks with one pull with choke on then when choke is turned off it starts coughing and when you open up throttle it is slow to catch up. Has anybody got any idea what might be causing this?
18hpevinrude fasttwin headed in fom fishing about half throttle and it was like motor went in to neutral backed off throttle started going again it didnt happen any more. Anybody got any idea what caused this or what type of repair may be needed ?
