If it is slipping at high throttle settings but ok at slow speed, chances are over 90% the prop hub is slipping. However if it was only a temporary thing and now pushes at high speed without slipping, it probably was cavitating from picking up a weed or something on the prop.

If you pick up weeds a lot, stop, put in reverse and give a little throttle. Then shift back to foreward. This usually throws off the weeds, unless they are really snarled.

To check for spun hub, remove the prop, mark a line accross the back side, reinstall. Go for a ride, and check the prop when you get home. If the lines don't match up, you have a spun hub. Repairable at the local prop shop.
