I have an 85 Glasply that has a rickety old kicker bracket on it. I have a better Garelick bracket I plan to install but the bolt pattern is different. I want to repair the old holes properly and color match the gelcoat prior to installing the new one. What would be the best process for this?
Got back to it today and is not doing it now. I believe when I pressed the button on the controls to throttle up it did not fully stay in neutral. Took her out on her maiden voyage for about an hour and a half and all seems good.

I just picked up a 25 FT Glasply with a mercruiser 260 and Alpha one outdrive. Running on the muffs there is a slight clattering behind the prop. If I put slight pressure on the prop it gets louder. Also louder at higher RPM. What could be the cause?
