    Supposed to be a 96 50hp Evinrude

    The plate is unreadable, but I got this number off the freeze plug: G2982985, there is also a number on the arm that hangs on the transom of: 189829. This is supposed to be a 1996 Evinrude 50hp short shaft. But I can find no info on this thing at all. Any suggestions?
