You can find the gear ratio on the LH side of the drive on the upper half.
But i would keep same size and pitch unless it was lacking. Just look on the outside of the hub between the bases of the blades. Or in the inner hub by the retaining nut...

Either way sounds like you need to pull the hubs to change the rear seal. I am curious as to what setup you have... is the zerk on the end of the spindle like this?

Here's another pic of a winch post just to help. Mine is adjustable... i had to do some work to make it like it is... but it works good now. I think you can work with what you have. Just need someone with some welding / fab skills.

Well, i went ahead and buzzed a hole in the gel/ fiberglass and mounted some 5 1/4's. They sound pretty good considering they are powered by the stock headunit.
