So I had a feeling my compression tester wasn’t reading correctly. Bought a new test and tested todayMy service manual for 100 hp range 2 stroke Mercury's says to expect problems if compression is less than 120 PSI. You're close and it may be ok but the manual says what it says!
Mine is.Generally speaking, compression testers are often inaccurate. However, they are usually reliable. If all the cylinders read the same (within 15%), the compression is good. I think your numbers are just fine, despite what the manual says. Is that a Merc Service manual?
