Re: hull extension in progress with picks

I couldn't take it anymore, so I hopped a plane to the big C, broke into Oops!' workshop and took a photo before being rushed by armed guards. Barely managing to escape with my life, and the camera, I promptly flew home in order to post the lone photo I snapped of the elusive hull extension boat..

The first ever unofficial snapshot of Oops workshop as of 01/2010:

 It was all fake!

He is a clever undercover salemans for Rasin Bran.

Yeah... if it was a fake, wouldn't the coronas still be real?

And wouldn't he make himself look a bit more.... y'know, attractive? ;) :)

I would say by the look on his face, he ate most of the Raisin Bran cereal.

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

Am I the only one that is disapointed here. I spent the last couple of weeks reading this on and off not wanting to skip to the end and this is it. It started out so great then the promises of updates then nothing. I'm just glad I only have couple of weeks into this and feel sorry for the ones that been here from the start.

With that said,

Great job and alot of information. I have learned alot and will be refering back to this thread for my own project. I just wanted to see this thing done.

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

Hi Everyone,

It has been forever since I have posted due to baby and work and all of the other fun life stuff! Stupid bathroom rebuild......

I went by the shop a couple of times in January but Oops wasn't in. The boat is there and things are being done, just taking our buddy a little longer nowadays!

I am sure that as soon as the warmer weather kicks in he will be forced into overdrive. Spring fever thoughts of a boatfull of bikinis and corona can make a man do strange things (See page one of this thread when some nutbar says he wants to extend his boat)!

I will be down around the shop in a week or so. I will see if I can snoop out some more info on where our favorite madman is!!!

Cheers all!!

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

Here's the scoop guys. Work on the canoe is going full speed ahead. The money is there and the push is on. The engine is in but there is a list of parts needed before it will finally roar to life. He's ordering the extensions for the side windows in the next couple of days. The search for a commercial sewing machine has also started so he can get working on the seats. There is a ton of switches and other electrical stuff that needs to be gathered and installed as well. Seat heaters are also on the list for those cold wet nights. oops! is fully recharged again and nothing short of the shop burning down will stop him this time. Now if we can just get him back in the forum! With all the good things happening I don't think it will be long before he stops in. He's aiming for launch in about a month.

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

Jspano, he will be in the games later. It turns out his plans with the boat have changed. It is now the new Canadian bobsled. He just had to do a little modifications to it and now it flies down the track.
