back to the boat. was able to get some buff time on the transom, cap, etc. the love bugs were out in force.

managed to buff thru the white in a few areas. will need to spot-spray those.

will need to pressure was the non-skid so I can spray wax it.

Had my bud that works at Chris-Craft come and install the dock lights. I was wanting them in the front, forward of the anchor locker bulkhead, however was informed.... "you want them a bit aft, so they illuminate the doc, in the front they become "headlights" and dont do much to illuminate the dock".

so we picked a spot where the lights wouldn't hit interior cabinetry, and would give the most illumination for docking.

Guess I would need to compare the difference between lights forward and lights further AFT. Both are going to illuminate the dock, but do see the further AFT would make the light more wide spread. Mine are forward

I think they look better farther forward, or at least, that is where most boats are. however based on what Austin described, it makes sense where we put them. plus, now there is a large gaping hole in the 3/8" thick hull so I dont plan on moving them.

4 hours of masking off to gel the dash in inside gunwales..... just setting up the gun.....and the sky turns black and it starts to pour. rain was supposed to be 4 hours later based on the forecast...... you have to love florida weather

Between the bugs and the pop-up rain showers, you certainly have your hands full. Hoping things progress despite the elements :thumb:

Yes, I get 'reminded' practically on a daily basis about when the boat 'needs' to be ready

defeated by a swarm of love bugs.... sprayed the first coat on the dash..... about 200 bugs landed on it, wind picked up, tore and flipped all my masking paper up and onto the dash.... by the time I composed myself and got most of the bugs off, the safety valve on the compressor kicked.... took care of that and the gel had started to kick in the gun......

antibiotics are over...... me and Kessler are getting together this afternoon.

sent pics off to a fiberglass guy to get a price..... then again..... I sent a few texts off to wrench-turning neighbors to see if they want to get the two outboards running....this summer is coming like a freight train.

Lots of work on the boat. You do nice work on spraying, and if the glass guy is to high might be worth buying the pipe and netting

Bummer with the truck, but different to hear that it just needs a TC and not also something with the trans

because the TC went, they are pulling the trans apart to inspect everything.
