IM - Those are the ones I could find, there my be more. It's tough going through the resto thread to find the one that were finished this year. Or any year for that matter.

I plan to work on organizing the restos some post-SOTY.

Are any other completions floating around? BTW - Nature finished his Holiday last year, DII.

A reminder - If any one wants to add to the Completed Projects forum, shoot me a PM and we can start the ball rolling. Weep'nWilly took about three hours to make a before and after with highlights and it turned out really nice. You guys do amazing work and you can be an inspiration to some lurker to join up and take on a Tinny re-do.

I've been going through the Boat Restoration, Building section and found this one.

iamsaws Holiday
http://forums.iboats.com/forum/boat-...rcraft-holiday

I started at the new year and have made it going backwards to page 35. Lots of Starcraft restos started with no end result.:tsk:

Still looking. I'll try to finish looking tonight.

Okay so I went through the Restoration section tonight from the beginning of the year till today and the two I found above are the only ones I could find that I think were splashed this year. I didn't include mine as it is allready on the list above. So I think that's all from the resto forum. Hope I didn't miss any. Hope this helps.

Yeah It's sad to see how guys start off all anxious about doing a restore and then just disappear. I think looking at other completed threads / pictures makes it look all too easy and once the down and dirty work begins they loose interest pretty quickly. It's easy to under estimate the time and money needed to pull off a tin restore and then there's always life that's getting in the way of things too.

Believe me I know all about life getting in the way. My Stratos is still sitting pretty much like she was a year ago at this time. My Admiral's heart attack last Dec put allot of stuff on hold. Talk about life altering. Then you throw in me redoing the Starcraft, and it really eats up the time. The difference is I haven't dissapeared. Even though I'm not working on either boat at the moment, I come here regularly to offer support and or encouragement to all the others who are trying to get their boats back in the water. There have been allot of cool projects that are in limbo. Frustrating to those of us who are wanting to see them finished, and back in the water.

No Title

Never lost interest during the restore, it kinda kept me sane. My daughter is in her junior year of college, couldn't live without the boat so I did some moonlighting for extra funds to finish the project. Been fishin her without the vinyl flooring and no leaning post yet maybe this spring... Rome wasn't built in a day they say

Since it's June 2015, and voting is over, topic closed.

And since there's been a 2015 splash, perhaps a completed in 2015 topic is needed. PM me or GA if you have any questions, comments or your project didn't get listed as a 2014 splash.
