Yamaha 90 hp cylinder re-lining ??

Anyone know if a 3 cylinder Yamaha 90 hp can be re lined with a cylinder tube ?

Is your cylinder messed up to the point that it can't just be bored oversize and new piston? I believe the liners are cast in place rather than pressed in, but your Yamaha dealer might give some thoughts on this. Good luck!

check with a MARINE machinist, even cast in liners can be bored and resleeved.
Ron's marine and equipment in portsmouth VA does it all the time.

does anyone know what i should torque the cylinder head on a 2005 yamaha 50 fuel injected engine? I was thinking around 18 pounds? I dont have a shop manual.

Start an new thread of your own. your question has nothing to do with that post you added it to. do a forum search for manuals and spend the money it will save you tons of time and money in the long run
