When I woke this AM it was -10 but it has really warmed up...... we are up to 1 degree It's square tire weather!!

It was surely cold today. I hauled and stacked 1/2 cord of wood in anticipation of the impending ice storm. I expect the power will go out.

It got up to 40 something here today... but colder weather and more snow is in the forecast.

On the bright side, I did spend most of my weekend on my boat.... in a 60 degree heated pole barn. It was perfect weather for doing some upgrades.

I just got off the phone with a friend in the next town. He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping below zero and the north wind is increasing. His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window. He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.
