I have a 83 ProLine 20 ft with about a square foot that has worn thru to the wood in the battery box. What is the best and easiest way to seal it up. Still solid but nasty. Thanks.

So you wore thru the gel, the 1/8" of fiberglass, and now are to the core?

If the core is good, and dry, just grind, add 2 layers of 1708, and add some gel

Most likely you will have some core replacement to do first

Got pics?

No pics. Boat is in Florida I’m in NC. Want to take what I need when I go back down there. Your advice sounds like the right thing to do. Floor is solid. Thanks.

Where in Florida. Suggest you buy your supplies local.

you are going to need more than just gel coat by your description of exposed core.
