so you would rather work on a boat than enjoy a boat?
Please post the link to your new thread here. We'd love to help out with the progress.
I would try to find a tandem trailer for it. The boat itself without the trailer is pushing 3500# dry(NADA weight). A single axle trailer is probably rated at that exact weight and you haven't even added the weight of the trailer, gear and fuel yet.
Also, is it just me that is have the red flags going off in my head concerning the trailer situation although you are getting it for a pretty good price so maybe its not a deal breaker.
whats wrong with the prop?
Why not get a trailer that can handle the load properly? This would be the first thing I would do.as for the trailer, im aware that im probably pushing it on this single axle, im hoping it will handle it for a year or 2.
He might get lucky. What's the chance this seller happened to have a single axle trailer that had a 5200# axle laying around? What is the single rated for? I would not automatically disqualify it based on the number of axles

bend at the tip of one of the blades
as for the trailer, im aware that im probably pushing it on this single axle, im hoping it will handle it for a year or 2. if not then i will look into a dual axle. i could take the dual axle its currently on, but the no title thing kills it, and honestly its to big of a trailer, makes the boat seem twice the size it really is. we went through the no title with my current boat and she doesnt wanna do it again(actually still going through it)
Instead of buying a new prop, just have yours redone. about 1/3 the cost.
there is no good thing about overloading a trailer.

agreed. Wish my props were that cheep, for my 290DP, props are $300 each, and General Propeller charges me $86 to straighten, weld up, balance and paint. then again, they know us on a first name basis
I wish mine were only $300 each. Try $600 each!
