I have a new-to-me 1977 SS 18. I saw this thread a couple of days ago and started thinking about a name. I came up with "Miss Tin-essee". I like it but wonder if this creative bunch might offer some interesting alternatives. I considered "Tin-essee Waltz" but somehow that just doesn't fit this old girl.

I like Miss Tin-essee..But you asked so....

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten mine to run up to par yet, so mine like many others on here still contains a few choice curse words. I have tossed around the idea of "Balls Deep", but I dread the thought of trailering it to the water and a kid in the passenger car next to me saying, "Mommy, what is balls deep?" It is a 1973 15' UGLY GREEN fiberglass bass boat... I will have to somehow incorporate that into my naming process... Jack Daniels here I come...

I love the upside down HELP, that is HILARIOUS.

My First boat was "Smells like Fish"
My boat now is "Drunk by Noon" with a name like that you are a marked man so I make sure I don't live up to its name

"Satori" Zen Buddhist term for enlightenment/understanding/clarity, sort of similar to an epiphany in the Western world.

Great idea for a thread btw. Half the fun of boats is naming them and seeing what others have named theirs.

My brothers and I call our 18ft holiday "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", but he replaced the C with a S. Its how our dad described the boat to our mom when we first brought it home because it ran like crud and was/is very ugly, but running great now!

Well.. my wife and I were sitting around one night trying to figure this out. We started out with "SEX-SEA-LADY" and ended up with "NAUTI-GIRL". I thought it was pretty original. The wife came up with the idea by the way... Wink, Wink, Wink...

i'll try to keep this short ,....10 tears ago an i had a 15' Dixie w/ 40hp Marina for sale . an aquaintaince (crack head) sold it from under my nose while i was away for $200 . I never saw the money . after police reports and tracking down the buyer , i hit a dead end . eventually the boat was towed by the town w/o the motor and transome ripped apart and i was sued for the fees , $300 . ,...fast foward . the same guys' son was doing yard work for an old lady and word got to me that she had a free boat , SC 14' V that sat for about 10 years . the father looks at it and wants it , but did'nt have a trailer . so i seized the moment , fixed it up best i could and with a camp out planned for next week , this aquaintance will be there . Cedar Bch. w/ campgrounds and boat slips . i'm desperately trying to think of a good name for my boat ,....Karme ? Payback ? ,....c'mon , chime in so i get the best last laugh ,...
