Well my boat has a name on the stern that is painted over. ?Nasty Buoy?
I answer the VHF radio by the name of gillnetter.
Some say that my boat fishes like I?m using a net rather than hook and line.
Others say it?s because I?m the one with the net, landing the other guy?s fish.
I like to think I?m a great fisherman. Legend in my own mind. LOL

You guys know there is a process to name or rename a boat.
Not something to be screwed with. It involves hard liquor and funny steps.

Diane insisted she name the boat..I agreed with a cringe..
She wanted to name the boat "Disney Boat"..I was cringing for sure..
I asked her WHY?
She stated it looks like the old old Disney boats, you know that was next to the Auto-topia ride...These were boats on a chain that you "drove" around..

I couldn't have that for a name..So I researched the ride and found it took a "B" ticket out of the old coupon books...

Thus the name... "B-Ticket"..

Ok, here are just a few we were thinking of but not making a decision until I actually dunk her.

cherry pit, 3 C's, the other woman, jack's shack ( jack is my dog), berth control, never ending story, crazy c's, bobbin cherry, mama said yes, she gave me the mom look, makin my day.

And to clarify, my dog goes almost everywhere with me. That explains the 3 C's with him, the wife and myself.

Nothin but time I was tired of so many boat names about money spent. I spend a majority of my free time both boating with family and friends and believe boating is among some of my best memorable moments in life. Not to mention the hours spent restoring my boat.

Haha, I like that! I was also kicking around Bearly Afloat, or Bearly Running... Yes I know I'm spelling barely wrong, I just figured since I am naming this after my dog I might as well use his spelling.

Yeah mine is always just "The Boat". I've been tempted to have a decal made to somehow capture the spirit of the boat from One Crazy Summer which was my favorite childhood movie http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/ezmobee/New Boat/The_Boat.jpg

That movie was filmed on Cape Cod in Summer of 1985 - my buddies are extra's in it....underrated movie and lot's of future stars!!!

Nothin but time I was tired of so many boat names about money spent. I spend a majority of my free time both boating with family and friends and believe boating is among some of my best memorable moments in life. Not to mention the hours spent restoring my boat.

I avoided any mention of money. I really don't care, I'm a cheap bottom feeder but I gotta have my boat. My fishing time and outdoor time I can't put a price on.

I avoided names like Edmund Fitzgerald, Widow Maker and Shipwrecked (nice family eh) for obvious reasons. My brother also suggested Breaking Wind which I wasn't too fond of either.

Just curious what makes you guys tick. Oh yea profs for "Bare Naked Lady", very creative. Nice save on "B-Ticket" Kev, I like it.

"Screw Loose" rates right up there with "Mechanical Failure", that's just tempting fate.

If you don't have a name for boat you need one. Now is the time to bounce a couple of names of your bros here.
