UPDATE: More information<br /><br />As I was ripping out a few more engine parts for acid dipping, clean, new gaskets and paint. I saw an old, greasy tag on the inside of my outdrive's transom housing . It says that it is a Mercruiser Type 1. Then I took a real close look at my outrive. The upper may have once been white (FYI, the inner part of the outdrives transom housing is white, I don't know if that would've carried through the whole outdrive or not) and the lower may have once been blue. I still can't find any identifying serial numbers. I will be pulling the outdrive over thanksgiving weeeknd. Are there any internal identifiers I should look for?
