Re: what would this boat intitle and costs be?
Sbl I am with qc on this one. It sounds like you have a good neighbor that wants to take you under his wing. If you can work out the "sharing" arrangement with him that sounds like it would be the best for both of you. I also think while that may be a lot of boat for someone in your position if you have the drive to do it I say go for it. The worst that happens is you fail and than you learn some really good, certainly hard, lessons but it's better to learn those lessons young anyways. As far as how people here on the forum treat you it seems to me that people here are generally really good people and are frustrated because they feel you ask questions but ignore answers. That is partially understandable because you are young and at your age most of us didn't want to listen to what old farts told us either, especially if it was something we didn't want to hear. I think the fact that this thread has as many posts as it does shows they are still willing to give you a chance and I know for a fact that a lot of people here do want to help you still. I think if you buckle down and really give this boat everything you have you can make a good go of it and if you really try to listen to the advice given you will also turn a lot of people's opinions of you around as well. So long story short (to late!) I say cut your losses with red work out a deal with your neighbor and try your best to take the advice here for what it's worth. I wish you luck and hope at the least you learn a lot and maybe even get the chance to have some fun on the water.
