What Vinyl for seats

I need to make new cushions for my boat. The back is plywood and the cushions are bolted onto the sides. What vinyl should I be using for this? Can I just head over to nearest materials places (Jo-Ann's) and pick something I like, or is there more to it?

After you've checked out the site linked above (which is chock full of good info, BTW), start shopping around, because you can get many of those high-quality, name-brand marine vinyls for 40-50% of those prices elsewhere on the web.
