what to paint deck with?

i am rebuilding a 17ft skiff, i had to do a lot of fiberglass work to the deck and now it needs to be painted but i have no idea what to use. I really want to try and avoid gel coat due to its price tag, but i want something that wont peel and chip real easy, any sugestions?

I hear great things about easypoxy and also interlux brightside with non skid added. I am not sure how much the sticker is on gel but you cant go wrong with durabak although I know it isnt cheap either.

i have a couple cans of flexible concrete waterproofer, what do you think? will it hold up?

find some 2 part paint . you will have water soaking there

Depending on the boat and what your looking for a, bedliner or rockguard paint might work ok and might be cheaper then a marine paint, I have seen them hold up extremely well for years in the backs of well used pickups.
