Hi Team,

Does anyone have any idea what is the model of this vessel? Unfortunately, the owner is an elderly man and selling this vessel, but cannot provide any further information. Boat runs, but would be good to know what is the model?

Kind Regards

Buyer Beware, then. . .

If the seller does not know the make/model, then it is a fair bet that they do not have the proper documentation as proof of ownership. If you are planning on buying it, you will need their proof of ownership (title/registration, etc) as per the regulatory requirements where you live.

If you did want to know the make/model, you could start be getting the Hull ID number off of the transom. The first 3 digits will be the Manufacturer's code. (assuming the boat is made in USA).

Ask the seller to look at his paperwork, or better yet, have him take a picture of his paperwork and send it to you.

That should clear any mystery about model, AND answer the next 2 questions. Is HE able to sell it legally, and does he have the required paperwork.....

Thank you. I am aware of the HID, but this is an older guy and due to distance and Covid, not able to travel.

It’s without doubt a Sealine S23/25. Be around mid 2000’s. Very sought after boat in Europe right now. Only come with a kad32 VP in them. You won’t find one cheaper than about 35000 Sterling here.
Sealine will be considered within the top 10 boats in the world, in the average private market.

Made in U.K. by Sealine. One of the best brands there are. Only exception was with a few hulls when Brunswick owned them for a few years. Now back to their best though.

Thank you QBoy!!
This model...although as well finished as a boat gets...was criticised here, for being a little tippy and easily unsettled. Not dangerous by any means...but not if your usual sealine stability. Lovely boats though. They haven’t dropped in value here for about 5/6 years.
