Suppose to be in the Low 70's this Weekend. I'm thinking about going to Bartlett. Water to cold to swim but atleast I get my Boating Fix.

Ok I got Lake Powell on the list. I would say it's probably a good time to go in the summer since it's a little north and I prefer the warmer climates.

Also at approximately 3400 ft. so usually 10 degrees cooler than Mead air temp.

Anyone try the Bagley Flat camp area on Saguaro? What's it like? I frequented a boat access only campground at the lake I used to boat on in Pennsylvania and it was basic but served the purpose. I can't find any pictures of this place. Any ideas?

I havent camped there but have stopped and had lunch there many times. Nice Large docks, Bathrooms and plenty of places to pitch a tent.

I cant believe the rain we are having today or I would be out at sagurao now.

The campground has docks? thats pretty cool.. The last one I tried you had to beach or anchor out and walk in.

Went to Roosevelt today... Awesome lake by boat... lots of downed timber for fisherman and lots of open water for watersports. Got windy today and made things a bit choppy but did not take away from an awesome experience.

Its a little bit of a haul from Phoenix but its a lot more open than Saguaro.

Unfortunately the new rig doesn't have a fish finder or temp gauge yet. I would guess around 65 or 66 thats what the fishing report was saying.

What have the water temps been at Saguaro and Canyon? Thinking hitting the lakes this weekend to start out the year. Boats all waxed and looks like new, so now time to splash!!

I believe Roosevelt is colder then Saguaro and Canyon. Anyone have a link to Lake Water Temps in AZ. I thought I have seen a site once.
