I pull my 22' G3 suncatcher on a tandom axle with surge brakes with my 2013 Nissan Titan Pro4x, she pulls the boat just fine. Now I have to get a hitch on my wifes 2012 Nissan NV3500 van so we can all ride together as my crew cab wont hold nine people !

picked up a 1991 ford f-150 2 inch risers 4x4 351 Windsor. bought out of a storage unit.118 thousand miles. this truck is all power with more to spare. good deal for $800.00 boat weight 4000 pounds. plan on owning a gas station. lucky if am getting 8 to 9 miles per gallon boat in tow

Silverado was costing too much to use as a daily driver. I drive about 2000 miles a month so I decided to get a dedicated Home Deopt/Toy Hauler and a sedan for daily driving.

Just got rid of the 2013 silverado duramax in favor of a 2001 excursion v10.

The V10 is one of the best kept secrets in trucks and RV's. I've had a 2002 E350 Van with 4 wheel drive for years. It's never been in the shop and runs like a Swiss watch. I did take the advise on the Ford Enthusiast forum and contacted Mike at Five Star for a tuner. He takes your info and writes a tune to tailor the shift points and engine performance for what you do. Best bang for the buck to help the towing and milage. Got a V10 6.8L ? 5 Star Tuning

Got rid of the 05 F350 6.0 and found a 1989 C1500 5.7l for the tow rig!

I am getting rid of the 1994 Suburban 6.5L diesel and found an 05 F350 6.0 for the "new" tow rig!!!!

It's time to sell the 1994 Suburban! I bought it new!

Tow a 97 sunbird 17' bowrider with a '99 Nissan pathfinder. Took over the local scales, boat, trailer, full fuel is #2970. Little pathy pulls fine, actually rated to tow #5000! The 3.3 V-6 just digs in and pulls, really surprised me! Had (long story) 2010 Tundra, that was a beast, but this "peppy pathy" as my daughter calls it, has moved anything I've asked it too.

My '92 Pathfinder is still towing my Lowe FM165. (See post#904 on page 61 of this thread).

I just read this and started having flashbacks of stiction and white smoke coming out of the tail pipe!!!
