We pull an Aquasport 175 (rigged 2500 lbs.) ftrquently considerable distances (200 miles) with either an 03 Durango w 4.7L or an 06 Dakota w 4.7L. Both are equipped with a transmission cooler and do the job very well.

Just bought her tonight.

2000 Grand Cherokee 4x4 with the 4.7 v8. Towing package, Quad-Tec II transmission, tranny cooler, power steering cooler, leather seats, sunroof, and a ton of other goodies. (Stupid thing had a sticker price of 42k on it brand new). Got the ol' in-law discount and paid a whopping 3500 for it.

It'll be pulling my 16', 1991 Glassport bowrider.

I use a 07 Ford Extra Crew cab with a 5.4 4x4. It works great even when we use a home made boat ramp.

My Ford F250 is such a great tow vehicle sometimes I just go get the lake and bring it to the boat.

Boat, gear, fuel and trailer weight nearly 5000 lbs. Pull with Chev 2500HD 4x4 300 hp truck. The Truck delivers 10 mpg which is expensive when gas hit 4 bucks a gallon. Road handling excellent, Ramp uses no problems.

the tow vehicle- 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4.7 high output (tow cap. of 6500 lbs)

the boat- 92 Pursuit 2150 express on a EZ loader tandem axle trailer with surge breaks.

I am probably getting close to the top of the weight rating for the Jeep, but it tows like a dream and it breaks awesome. I am impressed with how my Jeep tows the boat. I wouldn't mind wider mirrors

Main tow vehicle is my '01 Suburban 2500 LT. It has the 6.0L with the tow package and tows like a dream. For moving the boats around, I use our '01 Jeep Cherokee.

The boats I have are a Starcraft 24' pontoon and a 18' Celebrity I/O

I pull my Sport-Craft Sprint 1500 with a 97 Caravan, but before that I used a 94 Mazda Protege. I took it easy and never had an issue. Before the Sport-Craft I used it to get my 14Ft Whaler to the ramp. That little Mazda always got us home. My buddy tows his 17ft Whaler with a Honda Civic he gets a lot of looks.

2001 GMC Jimmy pulls both mine.
Sea Nymph no problem, you fdont even know it is there.
The Glastron, well that is another story. Within the weight capacity but right aat the top. Sometimes it pushes me a little bit. Overall though it does a really good job.
