vBulletin.....oh well, just like a few other sites. It'll have teething pains for sure, but it'll work out. Prettier, but pretty isn't always better.

Ah finally, the site looks great on a 28 inch high res monitor!

this is Soooooooooooooo much better then that little tiny format that wouldn't auto size itself to the window size of the browser!!

Ok, I like the new format...but everything is far too big for me...all the threads are what, twice size they used to be? So now I only see 10-15 threads at a time, I'm spending way too much time scrolling....

Just spent some time poking around and I have to say I like it, nice new look, seems more modern and you can get to "My post" easier(once they have that part up).

When I first got on I though my computer wigged out and sent me to the wrong place, it will take some getting used to but well done guys, me likey.

It's too hard to tell the difference between new post and old posts. It was real obvious on the old setup.

Agreed! The large icon to the left of the topic title and being in the same colour makes it very hard to scan. WAY too much baby blue!

I like it OK. I`m not on many other sites so I have to manoever through the change. A little time and all will be well. The pastel colours (Canadian spelling) I could do without and I prefer the old icons.

Tried it and it doesn't work for me. I'm at work, maybe it'll work on my home computer.
Not so sure about the new site. I'm sure that I really loved the one which was replaced. This one looks really generic. Feels more like email than my beloved iboats forum. Someone mentioned the smileys... I don't even see any icon options. At this point, having just gotten on for the first time since the forum went down, I'm really disappointed. I do have an open mind, though, and will of course deal with this new format. Hopefully, I'll quickly begin to love this new format. I really did love the look and navigation of the old format. Oh well... It's still iboats!!! That isn't going to change
OK, just hit go advanced 'cause I couldn't find preview post or post, and now the icons are up (don't like'm), and I now have submit reply and preview post. Guess I have to reset my avatar. It's all good, this too shall pass, grin and bear it,... and any other cliches you can think of?... What the heck, iboats went down around 0200hrs my time (I work nights and every time I have an oppertunity, I get on iboats) and now it's back up!!! I love iboats... How's that for keeping it positive???

There is one key guy (DelRay) that has been working on this. Due to obvious reasons he is kind of nocturnal. We are making suggestions in our top secret bat phone area and hopefully he'll get some of this worked out right away. These threads have been referenced, and I hope he'll let the pessimism roll off of his back and get us what we are all asking really for

FWIW, we've been on VBulletin for a few years, this is not a switch as some have noted. Also, there is obviously opportunity for improvement and especially with things like contrast. Some areas ares simply unusable as is and should be easily remedied.

I like it. There is IMO just a little to much white. Looking at the bright screen for longer periods of time is hard on my eyes. It is a little to bright. Still, change is good.

Myself personally, really don't care as long as we still have a place to converse..
