id say poly tanks older tanks would have been aluminum most likely.

really old tanks were also galvanized.

tanks on some boats are stainless, some are aluminum, most are now plastic.

thanks it's a gibson 1982 ,i took a magnet to it it's ss .the weld broke at the bib .cant under stand why ,in just 34 years lol. hated to see gibson go.
