Most likely the top cap seal. The large round rubber piece with the little side seal located at about 2 o'clock in the photo
That's what I thought too, but that's a new seal, just bought that thinking the same.

How much pressure you using? Should be no more then 5 to 7 psi

I'm using a hand pump/pressure tester and it doesn't register any pressure when pumping.

Puzzling @kenny nunez have any ideas?
Guessing it would be difficult but any way to see if the cap and housing are flat

Checking the edges with a flat edge may show if there is distortion. I cannot remember ever having a leak in that area. I used to put 15 lbs of pressure to check them.
Maybe MUC has seen leaks in that area.

Seems it's time to pull off the stern drive and see if there's any oil/water by the bellows and re-check the pressure test with the drive off to help know for sure.

I've attached two videos. The lower unit bubbles is with the top cover on, you can see the bubbles at the back of it. With the cover off, you can see a mist (lube I believe) coming up through the bearing area. I would think that air would be able to move north/up through that bearing from the oil drain (where the pump is) but don't know that for sure.

Agree with fun times. Need to pull the drive and perform a pressure test again

I didn't notice in the initial look at the posted pic the drive is still attached to the bell housing

Thinking the leak could be the yoke shaft seal or the u joint bearing snout o ring given the location of the bubbles with the drive still mounted to the bell housing

I have the service manual for the engine, lower unit, etc. @dubs283 but I'm not muc of a "boat" mechanic, give me a 1940 farm tractor any day, nice and easy, lol.

Can anybody recommend a good video for removing the drive, and I assume the pressure test is the same once removed, it just exposes more areas to see leaks?

ok, great video, thanks @alldodge. Seems like of the 6 nuts holding the unit on, one of them is pretty round. Can't get on it with anything that will get it to turn. Other 5 were no issue. Any suggestions? Is there a particular type of rachet or tool that is made for this angle? Once I get this off, I'll need to replace the nut.323a9b73-c125-4870-8076-e47b03377c45.jpg

Also, any idea what the thread on the oil dipstick at the top is? I like how this guy in the video fab'd up a lift hook.

Could take the dipstick to local hardware store and find what nut fits it if all else fails. My guess it's metric
